Dr.Luke I. Kao, MD, Ph.D, RVT: Board Certified in Neurology
Dr Luke Kao has Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Medicine affiliation.
Dr. Luke Kao is Board certified in Neurology and has been a pioneer in research in diagnostic and treatment of neuromuscular disease. He holds a Ph.D degree in Neurophysiology and Biophysics from University of Washington.
For over thirty years Dr. Kao was on the faculty of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the director of the Clinical Neurophysiology Laboratory at Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center: a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
To better serve our patients and referring physicians, we have expanded our Neuromuscular Testing to provide expedited testing.
All tests performed by a Board Certified Neuromuscular Neurologist
STAT report and clinical finds will be sent to the ordering physician immediately following the test.
NCV (Nerve Conduction Studies): Assess nerve signal speed and strength.
EMG (Electromyography): Measure muscle electrical activity.
Combined Testing: Offers a complete picture of nerve and muscle health for accurate diagnosis.
